TARANAKI POULTRY SUCCESSES. At the Woodville Poultry Show, which concluded on Saturday last, the following is a complete list of the Taranaki fanciers who gained awards:— H. E. Cudby.—American Leghorns, one first, four seconds, three thirds; Wyandottes, three firsts, one third. W. Hall.—Wyandottes, four firsts, two seconds; Hamburgs, four firsts. Betts Bros.—American Leghorn, white cockerel, first; Buff Pekin Bantams, three firsts, one second. W. Jones.—Game Bantam, black red cockerel, first. H. J. Moverley.—Homer pigeons, six firsts, three seconds, one third. The entries comprised: Poultry 273, ducks 26, fancy pigeons 69, homer pigeons 164, canaries 18. Messrs. S. Johnson (poultry), Cockrane (fancy pigeons), and W. Griffiths (homers) were the judges.
