Major Blake telegraphed from Quetta during repairs to his machine at Sibi that the heat was so intense that several workmen collapsed. We are. standing the temperature very well. On Tuesday morning we left for Ambala, but all the petrol pumps gave out. Soon after starting we landed and decided to proceed to Quetta and make the journey over the mountains, pumping all the time.,to maintain the petrol supply. The engine is now being overha’ ied and we hope to reach Ambala on Thursday.
