NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A record entry of 52 competitors entered for the bogey match on Saturday, but the scoring was not up to standard, considering the fine day. D. H. Smythe (handicap 10), with an “all square,” was the only card handed in by the seniors. R. H. Quilllam 1 (16), who has been second amongst the juniors | several times this season, headed the list with a card of “all square." The next best were J. Stephenson (17), 1 down, and W. Marshall (12), 2 down. Four of the five matches for the Medley Cup have now been played, the remaining one being on the programme for September 23.
