The professional billiard match between Abotomey, of New South W’ales, and Stephenson, of New Zealand, was won by the former, who ran to his points (2250) with his opponent’s score at 1967. FIRE BRIGADE TOURNAMENT. In the final of the New Plymouth Fire Brigade’s tournament W. Way beat G. Malam, both winning gold medals. F. Doughty beat A. Mundt for third place, and receives a silver medal. The games were 200 up with handicap. W. Way made the highest break (40) for the tournament.
