The Players made 245 for seven wickets. Hobbs (49) and Mead (44) were the principal scorers. The match was abandoned. Kent 185, Notts 112 for four wickets; match abandoned. Leicester 170 and 102 for four wickets, Warwickshire 168; match drawn. Gloucester made 47 for one wicket against Glamorgan, and the match was abandoned. Derbyshire made 99 and 55 for two wickets, and Yorkshire 202 for six wickets and declared. The match was drawn. Sussex 231 and -78 for six wickets, Lancashire 208; match drawn. ENGLISH COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP. Received July 9, 5.5 p.m. London, July 8.
