Up to the time he was knocked out the American was always dangerous, particularly at close quarters. Melbourne, July 9. Spargo defeated Jamito on points in a 20round contest. CHAMPIONSHIP OF EUROPE. Received July 9, 5.5 ! -p.m. Paris, July 8. CTiqui knocked out Wynn in the twelfth round for the featherweight championship of Europe.
