FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 8, 9 p.m. Paris, July 7. Michael Scott won the French amateur golf championship. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A St. Andrew’s Cross medal match will be played on the Waiwakaiho links to-day, the automatic draw to be used for starting. Buttons haev been presented by Mr. J. Austin for the winners in this match, which is the fourth to count for the Standish Cup.
