STOLEN AUCKLAND YACHT.
ARRIVES IN QUEENSLAND. ARREST OF THREE MEN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, July 5The police have been advised by cable that Alfred Westlake, Thomas Smith, and George Mills have been arrested at Yeppoon, near Rockhampton, on the arrival there of the yacht Raata, belonging to Mr. William Standish, of Auckland, which was stolen from that port on May 3. Officers leave on Friday to bring the prisoners back. Received July 5, 7.30 p.m. Brisbane, July 5. A yacht, with three men on board, has arrived at Yeppoon which the police claim is the auxiliary yacht Raata that disappeared mysteriously from Auckland on May 3The reported destination of the vessel was Fiji, but they were compelled to put into Yeppoon owing to the shortage of provisions and fuel.
