Wills (New Plymouth) 10.7 beat Ryau (Wellinigton) 10.5% all the way on points in the first round of the welter. Corliss (Bitham) drew a bye in the welter. The New York State Boxing Commission has declared that Johnny Kllbane has forfeited the featherweight title because he refused to accept a challenge from Johnny Dundee.
