By an arrangement with a Lancashire spinning firm, a quantity of material is being manufactured exclusively from Australian cotton. Mr. Fearnley, ex-manag :r of an English paper mill using cotton waste for paper-making, is visiting Australia to inquire into the possibility of the erection of such mills in conjunction with the Australian Cotton Growers’ Associa-tion.—Aus.-N.Z.
