A BANKRUPT BARON.
CANNOT REALISE ESTATES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received June 14, 5.5 p m. London, June 13. Lord Headley, against whom a receiving order in bankruptcy was issued last month, told a meeting of creditors that he would be abundantly solvent if the law would help him to realise his Irish estates. The Official Receiver pointed out that the assets amounted to £13,693. The book debts included £2OOO, which Lord Headley stated the Government owed in respect to compensation for malicious damage to property. —Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. Lord Headley is the fifth Baron Allanson and Winn of Aghadore, Ireland, and the eleventh Baronet of Nostell, in England. He married Mrs. Barbara Baynton, the Australian novelist, last year.
