DANISH MARKETING METHODS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 13. In response to inquiries at this end as to Danish marketing methods, a cable has been received advising that the Danish system is not compulsory and sales are frequently below and above the official weekly quotation. All butter is sold f.o.b. There is no Government control whatsoever over prices, quantity or shipment. Quality is the sole basis for export, and must reach a specified standard known as the Lur brand. Prices are never fixed in advance. The committee consists of three producers, three merchants, and an independent chairman. Butter is not sold under the factory brand.
ANOTHER RISE IN LONDON. Wellington,, June 13. Messrs. Nathan and Co. have received a .cablegram from London stating that butter is selling at 190 s and cheese at 88s to 90s.
