TREMORS AT TAUPO.

SLIGHT QUAKES CONTINUE. NO DAMAGE DONE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. Tremors continue at Taupo, but no damage has been done, and therefore nothing much can be said of the manifestations. On Saturday night a few • severe tremors were felt, and on Sunday there were only slight shocks, which were repeated this morning. Many rumors arc current, but there is no confirmation or justification for them. The experts arrived at Taupo on Saturday night, and to-day were at Wairakei. It is unlikely they will report to Rotorua, probably returning via Waimarino. Authentic news is hard to get as Rotorua is some 60 miles; away.
