THEFTS PROM LAUNCHES.
CULPRITS DEALT WITH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Extensive thefts from launches in the harbor were admitted at the Police Court by Frank Bartram Inkster, aged 27. The evidence showed that goods valued at £35 were taken from one launch, £l2l from another, £5 from a scow, and a dinghy and the oars were stolen. Accused was committed for sentence, bail being refused. Accused was also charged with being in possession of an unregistered revolver. This belonged to another youth aged 16 years, who was fined £lO. A third youth admitted assisting in the wrongful conversion of the ’dinghy. The magistrate said the lad had been led away by Inkster, and ordered him to come up for sentence in twelve months.
