ELECTIONS IN TASMANIA.
MANY CANDIDATES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 12, 12.25 a.m. Hobart, June 11. The general elections are being held. There are 377 candidates for thirty seats, four being women. It is expected the Nationalists will secure a majority, but they will be unable to carry on unless they are guaranteed support by the Country Party.
