ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDE AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 10. The body of a man named H. Edmonds was found in a lavatory at Newtown Park to-day. Death was due to a revolver shot, apparently self-inflicted, as a note found on the body indicated the man’s intention to commit suicide owing to being tired of life.
CIRCULAR SAW ACCIDENT.
Dunedin, June 9. Michael John Petty, champion singlehanded sawyer of the Dominion, and employed by the Railway Department, was etruck on the head ’by a piece of ironbark timber while working a circular saw in the Hanover Street workshops. His injuries are believed to be very serious.
