It is officially stated that after a meeting of the British signatories of the Irish Treaty and discussion by Mr. Churchill and Sir L. Worthington-Evans with Mr. Griffith and Mr. O’Higgins, in which the interpretation of the treaty was debated, substantial progress was made. Further meetings will take place to-morrow. —Aus.-N.Z. The premises of two shirt and blouse manufacturers and one maqtlemaker were gutted.
