OPERATIONS OF THE KLU KLUX KLAN. By Teleffraph.— Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 8, 9.50 p.m. 'New York, June 8. A felony indictment against 43 men, members of the Klu Klux Klan, was returned by the Grand Jury at Los Angeles. The indictment is based on alleged lawless raids organised iby the Klan near Los Angeles. The courts allege false imprisonment, kidnapping and assault with intent to murder. The raids occurred in connection witli extra legal punishment of so-called undesirable citizens carried out by the Klan.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
