HOCKEY.
ELTHAM (12) v. STRATFORD (2). Stratford unet Eltham yesterday, and were defeated by 12 goals to 2. Stratford arrived two men short and played the latter end of the game without the aid of another. They played pluckily, but the Eltham team was too strong, both in attack and defence. The following scored goals for Eltham: Page (2), Pennington (2), Henrickson (4). Free (1), Frethey (2), King (1), while Sharrock scored both goals for Stratford. Mr. C. Pennington refereed.
