'Randerson, a committeeman, was admitted to the Rotorua school last Wednesday by the headmaster under protest to give lessons in the Nelson system of Bible reading. Yesterday the headmaster wrote to the Rev. Randerson informing him that he had instructed all the teachers to proceed with the work according to the school timetable, and this morning, when the Rev. Randerson, Archdeacon Chatterton, Rev. Batty and others proceeded to the school they were refused admission. The headmaster stated he was acting m harmony with the last resolution of the Education Board, which refused permission to the committee to give Bible lessons in the time-table hours. The board will consider the situation at its next meeting.
