DRIVERS’ DISPUTE.
REFERRED TO ARBITRATION COURT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, May 30. The industrial dispute between the New Zealand Express Company and the Drivers’ Union was heard by the Conciliation Council with the understanding that any agreement would be ratified for the Dominion. A lengthy sitting ended abortively with the employers’ offer of the current award rates, and the whole dispute was referred to the court.
