A MOVIE STAR’S MARRIAGE. By Telegraph.—Preas Aasn.—Copyright. Received May 21, 11.5 p.m. New York, May 20. The Los Angeles cinema world has been stirred by a new sensation. Ruloph Valentino, a noted movie star, married Winifred Hudnut, daughter of a rich American perfumer, before the divorce decree was granted from Jean Acker, a movie star, his first wife. The second marriage occurred in Mexico, and Valentino, upon his arrivalat Los Angeles, was arrested on a charge of bigamy. The penal code fixes ten years’ imprisonment and a five thousand dollar fine as the punishment for bigamy.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Asns.
