CORRESPONDENCE.

RULES OF THE ROAD. (To the Editor,) Sir,—With reference to a correspondent's recent enquiry on this subject and your reply thereto, may I point out that Section 185 of “The Taranaki Counties Joint By-laws,” which applies in the Clifton County, goes further than the Public Works Act cited by you, and by Section 78 of the by-law, drivers of motorwaggons are compelled to carry reflectors. This apparently affords an ample remedy for the evil referred to.—l am, etc., C. R. STEAD. Waitara, May; 11.
