WANGANUI TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The Easter tennis tournament concluded to-day. In the men’s championship doubles Lampe and Powdrell beat Wallace and Wybourne in a good three se# match 4—6, 6—3, 6—2, and were later defeated by McDonald and Hooper, 3—6. 6—4, 6—3. Walker and Cowper (Dannevirke) then defeated 37e Don aid and Hooper in the final 6 —4, 7—5. In the ladies’ championship doubles Mrs. Knight and Miss Cato had an vasy win against Mrs. Melody and Miss Wells d—2, 6—l. Mrs. Melody again won the singles championship, beating Mrs. Knight in the final 6—4, 10 —8. In the combined championship doubles Wallace and Mrs. Melody beat Walker and Mrs. Knight 6—-3, 7 —5.
