ACTION IN SUPREME COURT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, April 11. Judgment was delivered in the Supreme Court by the Chief Justice Robert Stout) in thfe case brought at Nelson by members of the New Zea. land Church Missionary Society againet the society’s Trust Board on the allegation that certain action had been taken subversive of th? society as originally constituted and that the Tn»t Board had improperly disposed of all, or most, of the assets of the society, other than certain investments, and in particular of all the collecting boxes used by the society.
His Honor held it was not established that the society had lost all its power of initiative in missionary work, also that the sale of appliances and furniture was valid “unless there is some arrangement to the contrary,” said the judge. The action must be dismissed with costs according to scale as if £5Ol were claimed.
