NURSE CAVELL CASE RECALLED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, April 4. The Mons correspondent of the Times states that Jeannes, who has been condemned to death for betraying Nurse Cavell, was also ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution, amounting to 11,250 francs (£450). The reading of the sentence, providing for a public execution in the town of Mons, was greeted with loud applause. A crowd of several thousands hooted Jeannes on his departure from the court.
