Tchitcherin, interviewed by the Vossische Zeitung, expressed pleasure at Mr. Lloyd George’s statement in the House of Commons that the most important task of the conference would be the reduction of land armies. He eulogised the British Premier’s ideas regarding general peace and his reconstruction programme.
