UNREST IN SIBERIA.

FIGHTING CONTINUES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tokio, April 4. More desultory fighting is reported in Siberia, where the Reds, at Spaskaya, responded to the Japanese demand that they should disarm by opening fire. Other fighting is in progress along the Ussuri railway, in which the Japanese suffered little, the Reds being untrained recruits and poor shots. The effects of the serious reports appear to be a hastening of the Dairen negotiations, which are now reported to be reaching a conclusion. The Japanese final note has been answered, to which reply will be considered at to-morrow’s session, the Advisory Council having received Cabinet approval.
