ELECTRIC POWER FOR TIMARU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. The Hon. J. G. Coates, who arrived this afternoon from the south, discussed with the borough council the question of eupply of electricity. He stated that if his officers’ figures were correct, South Canterbury could be supplied from Lake Coleridge etation within a comparatively short time. He urged the formation of a Power Board to reticulate and retail the supply.
