MR. WILFORIXS CAMPAIGN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. Mr. T. M. Wilford, leader of the new political party, visited Timaru this week. He left to-day for Temuka. In consequence of Mr. Craigie, MJP. for Timaru, seconding the Addrere-in-Reply for the Reform Government, Mr. Wilford asked him whether he intended to stand for the Reform Party or for the new party at the next election. Mr. Craigie replied he would stand as an Independent. Mr. Wilford then met local men and made arrangements for the selection of a candidate for his party. Names of well-known and prominent citizens were suggested, but he preferred to leave the final selection till full inquiries have been made.' Mr. Craigie has never joined the new party*
