RETURNS FOR FEBRUARY. The Customs and beer duty returns for last month show a decrease of £414 19s 7d and £lO2 16s lid respectively, in comparison with the figures for February, 1921. Details are: Feb., 1922. Feb., 1921. Customs .. £5862 311 £6277 I 1 Beer duty . £126 3 5 £229 0 4 The total returns so far for this year amount to £9932 12s 5d for Customs, and £335 13s lOd for beer duty, compared with £14,755 9s 7d and £435 Ila for the corresponding two-monthly period of last year.
