MELBOURNE MEAT STRIKE.
TRADES HALL ACTIVE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne. Feb. 20. A meeting of master 'butchers decided not to yield to the men’s demands and to do their own killing so as to ensure no shortage of meat. The Trades Hall disputes committee is discussing a proposal to declare all meat “black,” and thus bring about a cessation of work in the meat industry.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
