FATAL COLLISION.

AT RAILWAY CROSSING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Harry Field, aged 18 years, engaged in farming and residing at Paraparauinu, when riding a motor-cycle collided with the Main Trunk express this afternoon at the Paraparaumu crossing. Field was hurled a considerable distance, and was in a critical condition. He was carried by the express to Otaki, and on arrival expired. Deceased was a nephew of Mr. W. H. Field, M.P., and a son of the late Mr. John Field.
