According to the New York Times Washington correspondent the president of the National Association of Machinists has sent a bitter attack on the Government to President Harding over the discharge of naval machinists, pointing out that thy whole association favored disarmament, and had believed the Administration would make provision for the care of shipyard workers who lost their employment through the cessation of naval construction. The machinists’ president pointed out that President Harding was undoing the work of the Unemployment Conference. —Aus. N.Z. Cable Assn.
