CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. ** By Telegraph.—Press Association. Feilding, Last Night. The Feilding show opened to-day in glorious weather. The entries show an increase on last year, principally in the sheep classes, the quality of the exhibits of fat sheep being an outstanding feature. The Jersey classes were also particularly numerous and the

quality was excellent. The exceptionally good season was reflected in the stock exhibits throughout. Following are the championship winners:—

Jerseys—Bull, G. L. Leete; cow, S. R, Lancaster.

Friesiane—Bull, Weraroa farm; cow. W. L Lovelock.

Grade dairy cow, S. R. Lancaster. Romneys—Ram, G. E. Allen; ewe, E. E. Short.

Southdowns—Ram, C. E. Vile; ewe, Jas. Knight.
