MANHOOD SUFFRAGE DEMAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Tokio, Feb. 6. The manhood suffrage question, which in the last session of the Diet was artificially manoeuvred by the Opposition in order to embarrass the Government, is now becoming a real popular movement , and getting beyond politicians' control. Yesterday crowds aggregating 200,000 held suffrage demonstrations in Tokio, Yokohama, Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto, at which heated demands for the vote were voiced.—Reuter.
