WIRELESS STATIONS.
MARCONI COMPANY’S OFFER. TO SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 3, 8.50 p.m. London, Feb. 3. The Westminster Gaxette states that the South African Government is considering the Marconi Company’s offer to construct, within eighteen months, at the company’s cost, on sites mutually agreed upon, wireless stations capable of connecting with Britain, to conduct, such stations efficiently, and to expend not less than £400,000 on the scheme, exclusive of duties and sites. Alternatively the company offers to build stations and conduct them on joint account for the South African Government. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
