CHARGES ON MEAT.
REDUCTION FOR COLD STORAGE. 1 ■ BENEFIT TO PRODUCERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In the House to-day the Premier announced that he had received a cable from the High Commissioner, in which he informed the Government that the cold storage charges on meat at Liverpool had been reduced 2s per ton per month from January 1. He desired to point out that any reduction in charges Buch as this must be of great benefit to the producers of New Zealand.
