TEX RICKARD’S TRIAL.
THE WORD OF A GIRL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Jan. 27, BJ> p.m. New York, Jan. 26. The 15-year-old girl who charged Tex Rickard that he mistreated her, cross-examined at the latter’s trial, stuck to her story, though she admitted she lied several times in accusing other men similarly on previous occasions. Rickard’s counsel said: “I believe there will be no difficulty in proving that the girl is lying in this case •bo.”
