The Daily Chronicle’s Berlin correspondent states that the Government has obtained a promise to support the Reichstag majority for a compulsory Joan bringing in £50.000.000 for the payment of reparations. It is believed the Allies will regard this as a satisfactory reply to the Reparation Commission’s demand made at Cannes, acponied by a period of grace, expiring to-day for information regarding Germany’s' financial reforms to meet geparatiins.
