SAFE ROBBERY.
PAEKAKARIKI AFFAIRS. TWO ARRESTS MADE. By Telegraph -Pren* Association Wellington, Last Night. In connection with the recent robbery at the Paekakariki railway station refreshment rooms, when a safe containing £2OO was tpken away, forced open and thrown into a gully, detectives today arrested on the Trentham Facecourse Eric Malcolm Biel, a resident of Masterton, and charged him with offence. Masterton, Last Night. Senior-Detective Lewis, of Wellington, arrested Percy Martin Carmidiael, a laborer, in Masterton to-day on a charge of breaking and entering the refreshment rooms at Paekakariki. and stealing therefrom a safe containing £127 in sovereigns and £5l in silver and sundry documents valued at £l9B.
