UNIVERSITY SENATE.
AMENDMENT TO STATUTE. By Telegraph —Pre** Association Auckland, Jan. 19. The University Senate to-day referred to the Arts and Commerce Committee a proposed amendment by the Board of Studies in regard to the W.B.A. Statute, which proposes’ to appoint an assessor to act as examiner in conjunction with a responsible teacher of the subject in each college, also a proposal to substitute the words “external examiner” for “assessor.”
