Wellington, Jan. 14. “There’s always a little piece of good news,” was the way in which tha Prime Minister met a question to-day. Then, to back up his statement, he ■said th« freights on wool ware being reduced bj one farthing per lb, as from January 16 On top of that, he had received a cable*., gram announcing that the rates for eold storage in London were being reduced—to what extent he had not been advised.
