EMPLOYMENT FOR ALL. PLENTY OF WORK NOW. By Telegraph -Pres*? Association Wellington, Last Night. The arrival of a large number of immigrants in New Zealand shortly was referred to in the House this afternoon. Replying to Mr. E. J. Howard (Christchurch South), the Hon. W. Nosworthy said it was a fact that three thousand immigrants were coming to New Zealand from Britain by the end of April. Every one of these immigrants had been nominated by friends, and there was employment for them all. ! Tn further replies to Labor members the Minister said that with shearing, slaughtering, harvesting and other work going on there was no need for anyone to be out of employment at the present time. They might not be able to get just the kind of work they wanted, but they could get work.
