THE WOOL MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 10th inst.: —There was a full attendance at the opening of the wool sales to-day, competition by Hpme and Continental buyers being good, and prices as compared with the close of preceding series ruled in sellers’ favor:—
Merino and fine crossbred, 10 to 15 per cent. Medium crossbred wool, 10 per cent. Coarse crossbred wool, 5 per cent.
The openin/ catalogues were representative. Arrivals up to December 31 will be included in March sales.
