DAMAGE TO THE ULIMAROA. HEAVY SEAS ON BOARD. By Telegraph.—Press AsaociaUoak Wellington, Last Night. The Ulimaroa, which arrived from Sydney this afternoon, encountered a hurricane on Monday and Tuesday, and the engines were kept at half speed. Heavy seas came on board and washedout the officers’ quarters. The top deck was smashed, as also were the driest ern lights, while the canvas sereena. on the bridge and decks were blown to ribbons. Wooden lifeboat cover* were blown away. Spray, reached the mainmast headlight, eighty feet above the deck. Two passengers and a seaman received minor injuries.
