BOATING TRAGEDY.
THREE MEN DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —vopyright. Received Dec. 30, 11.5 p.m. Melbourne, Dec. 30. A launch, containing seventeen passengers, on Lake Tyers, Gippsland, caught fire through the engine back-firing. Panic ensued, and during the scramble for safety tha launch capsized in deep water. Three meh—A. Finley, Darrell Ray and J. Bark —were drowned. Finley was a well-known Melbourne architect.
