ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A BOY DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Dec. 20. Hector McDonald, aged 16, was drowned, in a deep stream on Sunday morning. The lad’s parents reside at Dunedin. No particulars are available. A WAGGONER KILLED. Gisborne, Dec. 26. A waggoner named Charles Smith, a married man with three children, was killed on the Ihungia Road, Waipiro, late on Christmas Eve. The waggon ran over a bank and pinning Smith underneath.
