RIFLE SHOOTING.

NEW PLYMOUTH v. WAITARA. The return match between the Waitara and New Plymouth Clubs was fired on the Rewa Rewa range on Saturday afternoon, when the home team was again beaten, this time by the narrow margin of two points. There was a gentle, though variable wind, and the light was very variable also. The best score of the day was made by Deputy-President Grover, who made a possible and two thirties. Possibles at 300 yards are rather unusual, owing to the small size of the aiming spot. Scores: WAITARA
