NEW PLYMOUTH ASSOCIATION. AN EVENING MEETING. The New Plyiqputh Amateur Athletic Association held an evening .meeting on the High School grounds yesterday, when three running events were decided. Following are the details : 100 Yards Handicap.—First heat: Erlander 16yds 1, Atkinson 14yds 2, Stevenson 9yds 3. Second heat: Davis 16yds 1, Patterson 7yds 2, Moyes 14yds 3. Third heat: Barnett ’.6 yds 1, Rawson 14yds 2, Lysaght 16yds 3. Final; Atkinson 1, Erlander 2, Barnett 3. A very dose finish, a few inches only separating the first three men. Time, 10 2-nsec. One Mile.—Brodie 30yds 1, Drader 110yds 2, Cranby 160yds 3. Won by two yards, three yards separating second and third men. Time, 4min. 50sec. 440 Y’ards Handicap.—Brown 20yds 1, Nicholson 20yds 2, Lovell 20yds 3. Time, 53 2-5 sec. Brown won by six yards, with Lovell five yards behind Nicholson.
